By hosting remanufacturing workshops that include diverse age groups and conducting insightful interviews, we have highlighted the essential role of technology when building a sustainable future.
During the BiennaleTech24, we actively engaged the younger generation and families, with a deep dive on the circular economy. Silvia Fiore, the leader of the Circular Economy group at DIATI department and REMAN research, transformed the day into an exciting, interactive learning playground. She immersed participants in educational games and valuable lessons. Livia Nastasi, Rosella Risso, Mario Natali and Professor Silvia Fiore took center stage through two radio interviews focused on the synergy between CNH Industrial and Politecnico di Torino and our active role in the remanufacturing sector.
The outcomes of remanufacturing are excellent for both CNH and end customers.
As remanufacturing implies having spare parts in less time and at lower cost compared to the new items.
"Remanufacturing is an industrial process that gives new life to a component that has reached the end of its life cycle due to wear or breakage. This allows us to reintroduce new components when they have deteriorated, and to integrate existing components that retain their original characteristics to create a new product that is tested and guaranteed to have comparable characteristics and performance to the original product".
