In 2018, the 250 Series Axial-Flow combine range incorporates the latest Case IH automated harvesting technology, AFS Harvest CommandTM. Available as an option, AFS Harvest CommandTM is a self-contained system which communicates with all key combine elements and optimises the combine settings according to one of four chosen strategies to deliver maximum capacity in any harvesting condition.
Designed to relieve the operator from refining combine settings to changing conditions, it allows the combine driver to focus on unloading and logistics. Full-specification AFS Harvest CommandTM automation adds rotor cage vane adjustment, grain camera- and sieve pressure sensors- to maximise harvesting speed by changing the combine settings until preset parameters are not exceeded.

AFS Harvest CommandTM algorithm continuously and automatically optimises your farming strategies:
- GRAIN QUALITY MODE: adjusting settings to maintain a target grain quality and impurity level, while minimising losses.
- PERFORMANCE MODE: operating at a speed to ensure acceptable rotor and cleaning system losses.
- CONSTANT THROUGHPUT MODE: maintaining a target throughput by varying its speed, and adjusts settings to minimise losses.
- MAXIMUM CAPACITY MODE: operating up to the operatorset speed or power limit, while adjusting settings to minimse rotor and cleaning system grain losses.
AFS PRO 700 – SINGLE CONTROL CENTER
A single display provides a wealth of functionality. From your seat with just a few touches, you can view up to 6 run screens on a single monitor to fine-tune options such as remote valve timers and flow control, auto PTO,
engine speed settings, the wheel slip alarm, calibrations and implement settings, as well as other key machine functions.
