REMAN Electronic Component Unit 

CNH Industrial is adapting to the rise of electric and electronic components in its machinery by collaborating with Politecnico di Torino in Europe. They aim to recover more raw materials from electronic units used in off-road vehicles, particularly in agricultural and construction equipment.

The project evaluates the circularity and sustainability of remanufacturing electronic units, with a focus on CR Electronic in San Maurizio Canavese. This process preserves over 93% of the original components by mass, reducing the need for virgin raw materials and aligning with European regulations.

The benefits include decreased reliance on virgin materials, minimal waste production, job opportunities for skilled workers, cost savings for customers (about 30%), and reduced machine downtime.
